After School Club
- The staff of St. Brigid’s After School Club provide support to children to complete homework, and liaise with parents regarding any difficulties or issues which may arise. Parents are asked to speak with their children about completing home work and to sign a home work agreement.
- The aim of the service is to ensure that the atmosphere is calm and relaxed and different from the school experience.
- The after school team aim to provide a friendly, supportive environment, in which the child’s skills and experience are developed through the use of activities and games.
- Rather than scheduling a strict timetable, the children are encouraged to plan the activities for the afternoon themselves and to agree on a code of conduct and any rules for the group.
