  • Admissions

    • Parents seeking to secure a place for their child must complete an application form and discuss their childcare requirements with the Children Centre Manager.
    • Children will be admitted on a first come first served basis. However, priority will be given to families and their children from the Inner City neighbourhood and to siblings of children already enrolled subject to available places and also priority will be given to referrals made by different agencies. The Board of Directors (Childcare Sub Group) reserves the right to use its discretion in relation to emergency / high need placements.
    • If there are no remaining places, a waiting list will be drawn up giving full details of waiting children
    • All required documentation must be completed and submitted to the Children Centre Manager, prior to the child starting at the service.
    • In the interests of the child and to make the transition to our service as smooth as possible, those wishing to avail of the service must make pre admission visits to the service. This will be discussed with the Children Centre Manager when admission forms are completed.
    • A deposit of €20 is required to secure a place which will be refunded when the child leaves the service.
    • All parents are expected to comply with the settling in policy of St. Brigid’s Children Centre in the interests of the individual requirements of the child.
